i was thinking about putting one of these on my T5 do they make any difference in performance over the standard pipe and do i have to change the main jet.

I used to av one on mine didnt make any difference just the noise and it makes it awkward to get to yer clutch cable back on sito plus exhaust

wooly back dont what ever you do buy one of them if you want to buy a cheap pipe then try and get a reworked leovinci i put one on the billa bong when i sold it it performed better all over the range than the taffy goldline i got here if not then sito plus and no you dont have to upjet with any of the less money pipes hb of t5 fame swears by sito plus they just sound shite and dont last more than 24 months

have t' say had a few simmonini's over the years & rotted away from inside within 12 months, look & sound ok, but still a bag of shite.

just took a sito plus off because i could not stand the bloody noise it made, i used to have a leovinci on my MK1 in 1989 and i loved it.

yeah they cut it on the end can take out the baffles and stuff and they work really well better than most £200 pipes

its just getting someone who knows how to do it properly tho pm tunning was the ones i got that tip from tho

Just gave a Sim away. Sound OK but don't bother they're useless and you gain nothing. I settled for a Scootrs pipe @ £120 which gave 2.5bhp but high revving, power band at 5500, so you need a lightened flywheel which gave another 1.5bhp (ticks fine). Not a bad result for 200 quid!

id go up 2 sizes from standerd if it runs nice and plug colour is ok job done if black as the preverbial drop down a size either way its\ trail and error
